In gamers, there are many different types of risks and challenges for there are:
Extreme Gaming - Extreme gaming refers to long and heavy gaming sessions that frequently cause physical and mental fatigue. It is a risk factor for a variety of health problems such as eye strain, sleep deprivation, and prolonged sitting.
Social Isolation - Gamers who grow too dependent on gaming to cope with social isolation. Playing too much video games can result in a lack of social connection, communication difficulties, poor sleep patterns, and negative impacts on mental and physical health.
Aggressive Behaviours – in some research this might be dangerous for players since it may result in negative effects such as changes in mood, social isolation, and decreased ability to handle tension. Some research has connected violent gaming to higher levels of depression and anxiety.
Sleep Disturbances - Gaming might harm a player's physical and emotional health and performance. This is called sleep deprivation which has an impact on mental capacities which this is including memory, attention, and response speed, as well as raising the risk of mood disorders, anxiety, and depression.
Anxiety - The constant competition to win, the desire to maintain a good reputation among peers, and the fear of failure can all lead to anxiety and stress. This can have a damaging impact on a player's mental health as well as their gaming experience overall.
